Other data is collected automatically or with your consent by our IT systems when you visit the website. These are mainly technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of the page call). These technical data are automatically recorded as soon as you enter this website.

What do we use your data for?

Some data is technically required to ensure the website is working properly or to ensure we can provide our service. Other date is used to improve our services by statistically analyzing user behaviour on our site.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

We process personal data for the period of time necessary for the respective purpose or purposes (with the exception of any retention obligations imposed by law). We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law (Federal Act on Data Protection – FADP). Otherwise, we process personal data – if and to the extent that the EU-GDPR applies in a specific individual case – in accordance with the provisions contained therein. The following section refers to processing in accordance with the provisions of the EU-GDPR, if and to the extent that these apply in a specific individual case.

If the EU-GDPR applies in a specific individual case, the following principles also apply:

Processing of personal data

We process your personal data in compliance with the following legal basis according to art. 6 para. 1 EU-GDPR:

1. Processing of personal data with the consent of the data subject.
2. Processing of personal data for the performance of a contract with the data subject and for the implementation of appropriate pre-contractual measures.
3. Processing of personal data for the fulfilment of a legal obligation to which we are subject under any applicable law of the EU or under any applicable law of a country in which the EU-GDPR is applicable in whole or in part.
4. Processing of personal data to protect the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person.
5. Processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

In the event of violations of the applicable data protection law, the persons concerned have a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. This right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.

Right to data portability

You have the right to receive the personal data, which we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract, handed over to you or to a third party in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another responsible party, this will only take place to the extent that it is technically feasible.

Access, erasure, rectification and blocking (restriction)

You have the right to receive information free of charge at any time about your stored personal data, its source and recipients and the purpose of data processing, as well as the right to obtain the rectification of inaccurate personal data, erasure of personal data and restriction of processing. 2.4 SSL or TLS encryption

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content that you send to us as website operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of your browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If the SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

3. Hosting

External Hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider (hoster). The personal data collected on this website is stored on the hoster's servers.

Our hoster will only process your data to the extent necessary to fulfil its performance obligations and will follow our instructions with regard to this data. In order to ensure that the data is processed in accordance with data protection law, we have concluded a order processing contract with our hoster.

4. Data collection on this website

Data related to a property

To provide our services we collect data about a property for which a new tenant is looked for, such as general information about the property, household data, images of the property and contractual documents.

Information related to a property will partly be posted on third party real estate platforms to advertise the property and partly be shared with interested new tenants to faciliate the new tenant search process (for example to coordinate property visits).

Data related to applications

To provide our services we collect applications to rent a property as a new tenant.

Personal data obtained as part of an application will be permanently deleted if a user deletes the application or after our service for the respective property has been concluded, unless the user who provided the application has chosen to save the data for other potential applications via Namsu.

Applications can be shared with the landlord of the respective property and its current tenant.

Cookies

Our Internet pages use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files and do not cause any damage on your end device. They are either stored temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your end device. Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them yourself or until they are automatically deleted by your web browser.

Cookies have various functions. Some cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without these cookies. Other cookies are used to analyze user behaviour.

Server log files

The web server automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

• Operating system used
• Referrer URL
• Host name of the accessing computer
• Time of the server request
• IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

Request by contact form or email

If you contact us via contact form or email, your inquiry including all personal data resulting from it (in particular e-mail address, name, inquiry, telephone number) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request.

The data sent to us by you via contact enquiries will remain with us until you request us to delete it, withdraw your consent for storage or the purpose for which the data was stored no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

Registration on this website

You can register on this website to use features of the site. We will use the data entered for only for the purpose of using our services.

For important changes, for example in the scope of our services or for technically necessary changes, we will use the e-mail address provided during registration to inform you.

The data entered during registration is stored by us for as long as you are registered on this website and is then deleted. Legal retention periods remain unaffected.
