Why do you first publish the apartments in brokerage networks?

This maximizes the chances of finding a tenant in time. Since brokerage customers have to pay a brokerage fee when they receive a rental contract, they are almost certain to sign if after applying for the apartment. In contrast other applicants sometimes withdraw their application in the last moment (for example, because they applied for several apartments), which can cause weeks of delay in the process.

What are the requirements for the guarantee?

Our new tenant guarantees are conditional on following terms.

  • Exclusive search: We require an exclusive authorization to search for a new tenant in your name. Do not advertise the apartment on your own or share landlord details with interested parties.
  • Apartment visits: You need to be availabe for apartment visits until a new tenant is found.
  • Good faith: Make sure all submitted information is correct and do not obstruct the search for a new tenant. For example, during apartment visits, don't discourage interested parties from renting the apartment.

What happens if I receive a guarantee but Namsu cannot find a new tenant in time?

If you have received a binding guarantee from us, we will fully compensate you for any rental payments after the guarantee date.

Are my data safe?

We take data security and privacy very seriously.

Your personal data will always be treated as strictly confidential and will only be used for the purpose of providing our service. This applies to both current tenants and applicants.

Applicants have a choice to keep their application data for later use on Namsu or delete them permanently.

Servers storing your data are located only in Switzerland or in the EU. We have strict data processing agreements in place with our server provider.
